  • Responsible for providing solutions for diverse organizations, and for very small companies (5 employees) through sophisticated midmarket organizations (-3,000 employees)
  • Responsible for assisting Managers in planning and managing engagements, conducting fieldwork, discussing findings and observations during client exit meetings, creating work papers, and preparing written audit reports
  • The position will also include client service assistance such as advice on internal control approaches, best practices, and advising clients in solving critical business issues
  • Duties will also include: Work with practice managers and the client to plan engagement strategy, define objectives, and address technology-related controls risks and issues for SSAE 18 examinations (SOC 1, 2 & 3)
  • Assist Practice Managers by performing fieldwork on client engagements within budget
  • Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements
  • Perform work related to SOX 404 and Internal Audit assignments
  • Assess inbound SOC reports for the audit team
  • Provide subject-matter expertise in risk consulting strategies and internal controls. Qualifications
    • Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Computer Science, and four years of experience working in the industry as an Internal Auditor, Controls Specialist, Management Associate with a minimum of 2 years at a public accounting or professional services firm.--
    • Position requires travel: 1 - 2 trips a month within in Southern New England for 1-2 days in length. No overnight travel. Additional Information
