Job Description:

Description - Assist Estimators with A/R Collections, posting invoices, credit memos, preparing documentation for write-offs, working with the legal department and outside attorneys with collection issues, complete A/R account reconciliations and prepare deposits for submission to Home Office. Assist estimators with determining the correct billing contact details. This function includes heavy customer/client contact. - Ensure all invoices are posted and billings are completed - Set up new customer information in accounting system - Audit Payroll. - Reconcile month end and year end tasks/reports - Assist as a backup in all Accounts Payable functions - Assist in maintaining customer job files. - Other projects and duties as assigned. Keys: Experience and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field (or equivalent experience), along with 2+ years of transactional experience (REAL need is on the AR/Collections side: Will be calling on 50+ accounts) experience in the restoration field a plus - Advanced experience with MS Excel or Google Sheets, experience with Google Suite is a plus, ERP experience (They are on JD Edwards) - Ability to work within a team or independently as needed, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property and information, Deadline driven Requirements - 2+ years of accounting experience required- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred- Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized- Experience with high volume data entry- Well-founded grasp of customer invoices- Quality experience with Microsoft Excel- Practical knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne- Commercial collections experience- General familiarity with Office Administration- Deep understanding of account reconciliation- Commercial collections experience preferred- Proven knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)- Bank reconciliations experience- Foundational knowledge in Bank Account Reconciliation- Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Excel***For immediate consideration please call Eric Lebow directly 508-205-2127 AND connect on LINKEDIN Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
