Accountant will perform general ledger entries, account
reconciliations, and preliminary monthly accounting cycle
closing.What You Will Be Doing to Contribute to the Success of the
Business Office... Focus on accounts receivable and invoicing
various state agencies as assigned Serve as back up to Payroll and
Credit Card entries. Manage Lead Agency Flexible Spending activity
Monthly responsibilities: Preparing journal entries Balance sheet
account reconciliations as assigned Assist with producing monthly
financial statements Contributing to the development and review of
annual operating budgets Perform special projects as assigned Work
as a member of a team Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
Ensuring compliance with GAAP Assisting CFO, VP of Finance and
business office team as needed Develop and maintain positive work
relationships with all staff, and managers Treat all staff and
clients with dignity and respect Show professionalism at all time
while performing duties Attend mandatory staff meetings and

PracticesRequirements:Job Qualifications/Credentials Bachelor's
degree in Accounting required Minimum one year of experience
required Experience with not-for-profit organizations a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Strong
initiative, organizational skills and ability to prioritize Ability
to initiate and maintain efficient office procedures and filing
systems Must work in cooperation with a team, present a pleasant
and professional manner Acceptable CORI and SORI background record
