Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our team in
Worcester, MA. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
The Senior Associate will be responsible for performing a variety
of tasks including financial statements, audits, and other
accounting activities. The Senior Associate will need to be able to
work collaboratively with our team and meet deadlines. The
individual should have excellent communication skills,
problem-solving abilities, and the ability to
manageCompensation:$130,000 yearly, plus bonus and
benefitsResponsibilities:Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct
consultations with clients to assess their estate planning and
elder law needs.Collaborate with clients to develop customized
estate plans tailored to their specific circumstances and
objectives.Draft and review revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts,
wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other estate
planning documents.Advise clients on strategies for asset
protection, tax planning, and wealth preservation.Assist clients
with Medicaid planning, including the preparation and submission of
Medicaid applications.Stay current on relevant laws, regulations,
and court decisions affecting estate planning and elder law
matters.Maintain accurate and detailed client files and
documentation.Provide guidance and support to clients throughout
the estate administration and probate process.Represent clients in
estate planning and elder law matters, including court appearances,
negotiations, and mediations, as necessary.Support the Central
Massachusetts Law OfficeMaintain the standards and ethics of a
member of the CourtOversee the workflow in the practice areas of
Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and ProbateThe ideal
candidate will be proficient in probate, trust and estate
administration, estate tax return preparation, and drafting estate
planning documents.Supervise and delegate work to
ParalegalsCollaborate with client advisors such as financial
planners, accountants, and other attorneysAssist in the
administration of trusts at various stagesQualifications:Job
Requirements:A law degree from an accredited Law
SchoolMassachusetts Bar License and in good standingMinimum 5 years
of experience in the focus area of Estate Planning, Estate
Administration, ProbateExcellent verbal communication skills in
public speaking,Strong legal research, analytical, and writing
skillsPrior experience using CRM software is advantageousPrior
experience using Wealth Counsel and Elder Counsel is ideaAbout
