Audit Director / Audit & Accounts Director (with RI status)
McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast growing & entrepreneurial Accountancy Firm with 10 partners and 100+ staff who are looking for an Audit Director / Audit & Accounts Director with RI status to join their growing team near Worcester. - Reporting to one of the Partners, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of OMBs/SMEs including Limited Companies, PE-backed firms and Partnerships (in the -5-50m turnover range) and managing a team of Qualified Audit staff. - Key deliverables for the position include:

• 
  
• Reviewing complex client financial statements prepared by Qualified staff for client sign-off
  
• Ensuring all Corporate Audit assignments comply with UK Accounting Standards and internal policies & procedures
  
• Managing complex audits, staff planning, presenting final audit files/close-out meetings with clients at 'C' suite level
  
• Planning special project assignments, ownership of agreed budgets and ensuring the teams meet client deadlines.
  
• Setting objectives and completing appraisals for Audit staff, including future staff growth planning for the office
  
• Engaging with new clients and business development activities to help grow the firm across the Midlands & South West region
  
• As Audit Director, point of contact for larger corporate clients with direct contact at CFO/CEO level
  
• Ensuring all Audit work across the office is carried out profitably & on a timely basis in accordance with the firm's standards
  
• Attending weekly Meetings with Partners across the firm to discuss future growth strategy, staff planning, marketing etc
  
• Promoting other service lines within the practice and attending external business seminars/events as required
  
  To be considered for the Audit/Audit & Accounts Director role you should be a Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant with RI Status / Practicing Certificate, ideally degree-educated with extensive External Audit experience, strong staff management and business development skills. - The firm is happy to consider current Audit Directors who wish to move to a different practice, or someone at Audit Senior Manager level who has the potential to become Director in a 9-12 month timeframe. - They are looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial, strategic and highly-driven personality traits; someone who can help increase revenues significantly within the next 2-5 years. - On offer is a base salary up to -80,000 depending on experience + company pension, healthcare, 25 days holidays and flexible/WFH benefits. - To apply for the position or for more information please contact McGinnis Loy Associates (Midlands) Office by telephone on 01889 390 380 or via email at
