multiple services to patients performing a full range of
administrative support services for clinic/site including
collection of co-payments, registration and scheduling of patients
for medical procedures, tests, associated ancillary services and
other related duties. Ensures the highest level of patient/customer
satisfaction. -- --Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM. No
weekends, evenings, or holidaysLocation: 900 Union Street,
Westborough, MA, USA 01581Primary Responsibilities:
- Acts as a patient advocate and liaison in coordinating
healthcare services by partnering with a care team (Nurses,
Providers, and Medical Assistants)
- Verifies patient insurance coverage and eligibility utilizing
computer-based patient registration / scheduling system
- Collection of patient co-payments and other outstanding
balances
- Addresses patient-care related telephone calls via an incoming
work queue aligning with department metrics
- Documents appropriate information in patient's charts using an
electronic medical records system
- Completes and maintains physician's schedules, coordinating
patient visits and medical procedures
- Checking out patient and scheduling future appointment --
- Help patients with scheduling of specialty consult and
testing
- Ensures insurance authorizations are obtained and services are
covered in full, communicating information with patients as
needed
- Performs other similar and related duties as required or

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Intermediate level of proficiency with--Microsoft Office
products

- 2+ years of specialized medical secretarial/medical office
training
- 2+ years of experience with customer service skills including
the ability to multi-task and resolve patient concerns in a timely
mannerSoft Skills:
- Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational
skills
- Comfortable being on the phone, taking incoming and doing
outgoing callsPhysical Requirement:
- Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and
