Job Description:

Position: Software Engineer III (Operational Engineering/Customer Identity)

Duties: Design and develop new features for advertising stack; perform core

platform tooling development in digital advertising keyword search or

display, email templating to smtp, and customer tracking at scale; utilize Java, Python, and/ or PHP, RESTful web service development, and

Java, Python, and/ or PHP, RESTful web service development, and other

stream processing or queueing technologies; mentor junior engineers; work

closely with business stakeholders to achieve improved business outcomes.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information

Systems, Information Technology, or related field (willing to accept

foreign education equivalent) plus two years' experience performing Python

design, development, and continuous integration or, alternatively,

bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems,

Information Technology, or related field (willing to accept foreign

education equivalent) and five years' experience performing Python design,

development, and continuous integration. One year of experience must

include: Employing engineering and optimization best practices regarding

development standards, code maintainability, page rendering, and browser

performance; Performing SQL and Bash database development including

designing queries, triggers and stored procedures, performance tuning, and

performing data ETL in MSSQL environments; Interfacing with business

product leaders, project managers, and engineers to gather requirements and

translate requirements into system design and work board tickets;

Performing non-relational database (Aerospike, Cassandra) design,

conceptualization and development including data modeling, estimation,

queries, performance tuning; Performing time-series event logging and

process using InfluxDB and Graphite, and visualization using Grafana;

Performing Apache BigData Ecosystem (Hadoop/Hive) development including

schema designing, querying, and performance tuning; Performing micro

services development using Python (Aiohttp and Flask) and high-performance

in-memory cache using Redis; Performing Apache Storm Topology development

in Java; Performing job automation and continuous integration with Jenkins,

and GitLab; and Performing real-time data streaming development using

Apache Kafka.
