You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures across a variety of project types Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or required adjustments Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes Collaborate with contractors, engineers, project managers, and other trades Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Respond to emergency electrical service calls, including after-hours or on-call situations, as required Qualifications Valid State of Connecticut E-2 Electrician License (required) Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to local job sites Minimum 3 years of professional electrical experience Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety practices, and building codes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with electrical tools, testing equipment, and related technology Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication, including client interaction Preferred Skills Experience with commercial and industrial electrical systems Knowledge of energy-efficient or smart electrical systems Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions Benefits Paid Time Off (holidays, vacation, sick time) Retirement Savings Program Weekly Pay Cycle Paid training and certifications Apprenticeship and mentorship programs Safety equipment provided Performance-based bonuses Opportunities for long-term growth and advancement Work Schedule Full-Time Monday–Friday Occasional after-hours or on-call work based on project and emergency needs Work Location Waterbury, CT On-site work with travel to local project sites Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
