Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. Seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time
contract position supporting students in grades PreK-4. This role
is based in Meriden, CT, with a contract duration from ASAP through
the end of the current school year. Ideal candidates hold a valid
Connecticut Special Education (SPED) teaching license and have
experience working with diverse learners in early childhood and
elementary settings. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver
individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs
of students in PreK-4. Provide specialized instruction and support
within inclusive classroom environments. Collaborate with general
education teachers, therapists, and families to promote student
success. Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching
strategies as necessary. Maintain compliance with state and federal
special education regulations. Qualifications: Valid Connecticut
Special Education (SPED) teaching license required. Experience
teaching special education to students in PreK-4 preferred. Strong
communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with
staff, students, and families. Ability to create engaging and
supportive learning environments. Position Details: Location:
Meriden, CT. Hours: Full-time. Contract length: Immediate start
through end of school year. Number of openings: 1. Benefits for
