Sign Language Interpreter Norfolk, VA (School Setting, Travel Required) A reputable educational organization is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students within a school environment in Norfolk, VA. This role involves travel between school locations to provide clear and effective communication facilitation during classroom instruction, meetings, and extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of American Sign Language (ASL) and the educational context, ensuring equal access to information for all students. Key Responsibilities: Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
