Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Product Marketing Manager,
will be responsible for expanding the use of MATLAB solutions;
contributing to the marketing and sales of MathWorks MATLAB
products through the design and development of sophisticated
software product models and simulations to demonstrate MathWorks
MATLAB product capabilities; developing technical examples and
demos in MATLAB that highlight MATLAB use in end-to-end workflows
and applications of machine learning and deep learning;
collaborating with marketing, sales, and application engineering
teams in go-to-market activities including awareness building,
demand generation, sales enablement, and market intelligence;
collaborating with development teams and stakeholders on product
direction and overall execution; planning and developing technical
selling materials with a reinforcing message to drive awareness and
adoption across web pages, videos, examples, white papers, and
conferences; planning and developing content for demand generation
including webinars and marketing campaign offers; collaborating
with marketing programs in planning, delivery, and impact
assessment; projecting thought leadership of MATLAB for machine
learning and deep learning through conferences, events, social
media, and web channels; collaborating with business development in
defining specific problems and incubating market opportunities;
building content, messaging, and tools that sales and marketing
programs can use to capitalize on the opportunities; liaising with
customers and supporting customer-facing teams with the knowledge
and tools necessary to successfully prospect, qualify, sell, and
drive adoption; working with development teams and developing
product plans by collecting and synthesizing customer requirements,
use cases, and personas; collaborating in developing multi-year
product roadmaps informed by the medium- to long-term direction and
opportunities; collecting, synthesizing and prioritizing customer
feedback; working with product management and development teams in
shaping product development plans for machine learning and deep
learning; and measuring sales and business impact for product areas
and developing plans to enhance penetration and growth in both
commercial industries and academia. Requires frequent travel and on
short notice. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and one (1) year of experience in
job offered or one (1) year of experience in development or product
marketing of machine learning applications. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise developing machine learning applications
for vision, text, and signal processing using Python and
MATLAB. Demonstrated expertise applying Artificial Intelligence or
Machine Learning to application design along the software
development life cycle (SDLC). Demonstrated expertise in product or project management --
market assessment, strategy, partnerships, positioning, launch, and
sales enablement -- for data science, big data or technical
computing. Demonstrated expertise developing presentations and technology
demonstrations of software application functionality. [Experience and/or expertise may be gained during Graduate
