Position Description Job Summary As a business partner to Sales, Marketing and Finance, the HRD will lead the people actions, talent acquisition and development strategy for these functional areas as well as manage the core components of the HR functions including but not limited to performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, recruitment, organization planning and employee experience. HRD will develop and implement strategic HR initiatives and best practices that align and help drive business growth. There is heavy emphases on performance management, attraction, development and retention of high performers. This position also partners closely with Manager of Training to ensure this program continues to be a vital pipeline for sales and technical professionals. Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of core foundational human resources working experience, at least 2 of which must have been in HR management. Experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and expanding requirements in high growth organizations is preferred.
  • Experience with Sales organizations and variable compensation required.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience. Master's degree in HR discipline or MBA preferred
  • Successful track record as HR leader and trusted advisor to executive team
  • Experience with growing companies, managing culture change, and organizational development required
  • Prior responsibility for human resources management required including HRIS administration, compensation, benefits, talent management, performance management, organizational development, employee relations, and compliance
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance areas including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, WC, etc.
  • Credible as strategic thinker, superior communicator, and confident decision-maker
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple projects and personalities at once
  • Must possess and demonstrate innovation and use it strategically to serve the business's strategy

    • Partner with the Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and Finance leaders to design and implement people programs and organizational structures that align to business objectives of growth and mobility
    • Build, manage and develop a world-class HR strategy that drives positive employee relations, creates and sustains a productive and customer centric culture. Employee Relations and Compliance
      • Identify and proactively mitigate risk and potential liability with respect to people management issues;
      • Develop and disseminate HR policies and procedures to provide clarity and consistency in employee relations and in accordance with employment law and Saint-Gobain values
      • Comply with and advocate for Health, Safety & Environmental programs
      • Coach and counsel functional management as appropriate on all HR and business issuesTalent Management

        • Develop a candidate sourcing strategy to build specialized applicant pools and selection processes that align with the organization's competency needs

          • Work with leaders and employees to nurture and drive a positive culture, build and develop programs that foster innovation, agility, personal development and that challenges the norms
          • Analyze internal and external indicators in HR and employee life cycle data to monitor the desired impact of programs and services and improve where needed
          • Develop and execute communication strategies to constantly share information about the business, HR programs and offerings, and other relevant information.
