Open Sky Community Services is a human service agency that provides counseling services and treatment options to people facing challenges. Open Sky specializes in behavioral health, developmental disability/intellectual disability services, substance use disorders, long-term housing and justice involved programming. Blending evidence- based practices and the power of community, Open Sky partners with individuals to see beyond and live beyond perceived limitations to lead fulfilling lives. The Human Resource Director--will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent. The Human Resource Director will supervise the leaders of Workforce Development, Human Resources Administration, and Employee Relations and Development.

Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
    2. Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
    3. Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
    4. Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
    5. Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
    6. Monitor and ensure the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    7. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
    8. Develop and implements departmental budget.
    9. Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
    10. Recruit, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
    11. Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
    12. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
    • At least five years of human resource management experience required.
