Job Position: Assistant Manager, Insurance Operations
Job SummaryThe Assistant Manager position is for managing the overall process and planning, scheduling, execution and measuring the process health.

  • Planning, scheduling, execution and measuring process training for insurance operations process
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and help set up new business relations
  • Maintain and exceed metrics related to quality, turnaround times and productivity
  • Responsible for hiring, training, developing and evaluating team members
  • Proactively communicate with all relevant stakeholders (broker, underwriters, risk manager etc.) to resolve data related issues
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation to enhance process efficiency
  • Act as SPOC for team's interactions and support with functions like HR, Admin etc.
  • Insurance industry experienced professional with sound domain knowledge
  • Knowledge management development-Ensure that all processes follow and maintain the various tools essential for knowledge management-update tracker, query tracker etc.
  • Plan and execute monthly refresher training and process knowledge test for the process
  • Reconciliations of data
  • Selection and upskilling of process experts to enable them to perform their roles effectively
  • Ensure documentation completeness and adherence to quality norms like ISO etc.
  • Gain knowledge of the end to end process of the client
  • Prepare monthly dashboards, error and trend presentations and performance management reports
  • Coordinating with the client on process related issue and updates
  • Optimum utilization of resources to meet productivity
  • Conducting team reviews and conducting appraisals
  • Managing day to day operations of the team, including attendance, attrition and outages, to minimize customer impact
  • Participate with the client
  • Documentation and assisting in transitioning processes from client
  • Support SOC audit requirements and standards within the insurance operations team

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Required Education and Experience
      • A minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience in insurance
      • Management experience required
      • Proven track record of exceptional dedication to provide friendly, customer-oriented service
      • Demonstrated communications skills, both orally and in writing, and strong interpersonal skills are essential
      • Must be detail oriented and able to multitaskPreferred Education and experience
        • Associate or bachelor's degree
        • CPCU, P&C Brokers License, or any insurance certifications
        • Insurance industry experienced professional with sound domain knowledge
