Description:**CDM Smith currently has an opportunity for a Project
Management and Commercial Leader with 15+ years of previous
consulting experience managing or implementing Superfund CERCLA
projects for Federal Agencies (USACE, DOD, EPA, etc). The position
will serve as the main point of contact for the contractual matters
for the implementation and management of remediation projects
supporting Federal agency contracts and assisting with business
development activities.**We are open to filling this position in
the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.**In this
position you will have responsibility for the following:---
Supporting the Federal Services Unit Environment and Energy
Delivery and Sales team in the day-to-day operation of the business
unit, including project delivery performance, go/no-go decisions,
pricing strategies, proposal preparation, risk management,
forecasting and budgeting, and performance reporting.--- Working
with Federal Agency Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer
Representatives, and Program Managers to implement the clients'
environmental programs.--- Working with CDM Smith Project Managers
(PMs) and contracting and procurement staff to prepare and process
proposals and contract documents.--- Collaborate with Client
Service Leaders to market and position for opportunities on
assigned contracts and programs.--- Driving consistent project
management practices and procedures in alignment with CDM Smith PM
requirements and those of the group.--- Ensuring adherence to
company project management policies, procedures, and

Type:**Regular**Minimum Qualifications:**--- Bachelor's degree in
Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related
discipline.--- Professional engineering (PE) license.--- 12 years
of related experience.--- Domestic and/or international travel may
be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific
duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the
position, which may vary depending on workload and project
demands.--- Equivalent additional directly related experience will
be considered in lieu of a degree.**Preferred Qualifications:**---
Previous experience managing environmental projects and programs
for Federal agencies including projects with CERCLA Scope,
including investigations, studies, design, and remedial
construction.--- Experience interacting with Federal agency
Contracting Officers, Remedial Project Managers, and technical
staff.--- PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within
12 months of hire).--- Recent experience managing projects and
programs, including the development of scope, schedule, and budget,
and the subsequent monitoring of cost and schedule.--- Strong
project/program management skills, with experience in organizing,
planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout,
involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.--- Business
development skills and experience such as client service and
proposal preparation.--- Understanding of scheduling concepts.---
Desire to be a People Leader.--- Strong verbal and written
communication skills.--- Computer proficient, including the
Microsoft Office suite and EcoSys.--- Ability to travel to other
