Job DescriptionTemescal Wellness serves Massachusetts with a variety of high-quality cannabis products and education, in compliance with state and local rules and regulations. We have three cannabis dispensaries located throughout the state, each serving both recreational guests and medical card holders as well as a growing production facility with a second state of the art production facility on the way in North Adams, MA. We celebrate the unique voices and experiences of our customers and team members and, by working together toward a common goal of inclusivity, we enhance the spaces we inhabit.About the RoleAs the Wholesale Manager, you will be responsible for creating, fostering and successfully maintaining wholesale accounts for Temescal Wellness. You have a strong understanding of the cannabis wholesale market and are able to create positive, mutually beneficial account relationships. You will represent the Temescal brand and have or create strategies that explore, identify, prospect and execute on customer opportunities to reach or exceed revenue goals. You will seek out innovative approaches to opportunities in this competitive market. We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader who can identify needs and opportunities. A person who will roll their sleeves up and dive in to launch our wholesale program and also build out, over the next 12 months, a fully knowledgeable, effective Wholesale team that includes Account Managers and Field Representatives under your demonstrated leadership and guidance.Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and generate new business opportunities through extensive research and prospecting
  • Possess determination, persistence and tenacity for revenue and business growth
  • Develop strong relationships with decision makers makers with partners, prospective and existing accounts
  • Present customers with product benefits, features, pricing, credit terms for full cycle of wholesale sales including investigating and correcting any customer issues
  • Be the primary point of contact for all wholesale customers with a demonstrated high level of customer service
  • Travel throughout Massachusetts for in person customer meetings
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales effectively
  • Constantly pursue a deep knowledge of market demands, trends and competitive analysis in cannabis and effectively translate those into actionable business objectives and operating plans.
  • Maintain a successful track record of driving results oriented sales and motivating teams
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of internal and external organizations
  • Continually demonstrate strong business and financial acumen including cost analysis
  • Be self motivated, resourceful, efficientand demonstrate strong negotiation skillsKey Requirements:
    • Knowledge of wholesale cannabis
    • Must pass CORI background check, be approved by the CCC to receive an agent registration and maintain all compliance requirements to work in the cannabis industry
    • Possess a valid Driver's License
    • Flexible work availability in a fast paced and evolving marketEducation and Qualifications:
      • 2-5 years of cannabis wholesale experience
      • Bachelor's degree in business or similar concentration
      • Ability to track and analyze initiatives and performance to ensure we meet and/or exceed our revenue goals
      • Strong leadership, team member and staff/team development and motivation skills
      • A proven track record of effective performance resulting from the demonstrated ability to build relationships, open new accounts and drive revenue
      • Able to travel, as needed, including weekends where necessary to drive production
      • Excellent presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills requiredCompensation and Benefits:
        • Competitive starting base salary of $70,000 - $80,000 plus bonus
        • Employer pays approximately 75% of medical, dental and vision insurance, including for family members
