- A qualified communications manager will participate in creating communications plans that align with company strategies. - You will create content for social media - You will also have the ability to create and distribute press releases - Communications manager will implement placement of positive service line and reputable stories in local media. - You will contribute to the hospital's website newsroom content. - The communications manager will work with the communications director for the east coast on hospital crisis communication and reactive media responses. - You will be the day-to-day contact for hospitals CEOs and leadership for communications support. - Communications manager will also work with leadership, marketing and strategy teams to ensure alignment on supporting hospital strategic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Communications manager is required to have a bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or related field, masters is desired. - Must have at least 4-6 years experience developing communication strategies and driving key messages both internal and external stakeholders. - Qualified communications manager will possess excellent copywriting, editing, and researching skills. - Must have a strong knowledge of the healthcare industry. - Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite, and familiar with blogs, podcasts and emerging social media. - You will have the ability to travel locally. -
