Together, we're pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.The Director, Business Intelligence and Pricing Management will develop and lead execution of Pall Biotech's BI strategy and framework as well as be the Pall Biotech SME on pricing strategy, ensuring best practice identification and implementation globally. They will bring the experience, influence and analytical capability necessary to enable the global commercial team to continually improve pricing policies and tactics to drive sales margin improvement and profitable growth. Business Intelligence Provide commercial insights to support critical business decisions and activities; lead in the ideation and d eve l o p ment of continuously improving data analytical t o o l s in c oordination with Finance and o the r s t a keh o l de rs. Partner with hub and senior sales leadership to understand regional priorities and the types of data reporting structures / analyses that are necessary to support. Use analytics to continually pressure-test regional sales teams on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their selling strategy. Consult with Product Management to align pricing for new product launches; maximizing impact and optimizing consistency Drive alignment of KPIs and targets across the global sales organization; ensuring adoption, refinements to and consistency of commercial dashboards and other metrics. Implement usage tracking processes and metrics. Define and implement global standard work for the compilation, synthesis and dissemination of competitive price intelligence, including outreach to and interaction with industry thought leaders and other third parties. Lead/coach a Business Intelligence Manager direct report to execute growth-driving business analytics and special projects to drive price realization improvements. Drive projects and set policy for commercial data governance and hygiene; act as a conduit to translate Commercial Operations reporting requirements to robust, sustainable IT platforms with optimized levels of data integrity. Partner with Sales Training and Organization Learning director to develop business insights that lead to updates to Pall's learning curriculum.Pricing Management Partner with senior sales leadership to define and execute periodic global pricing updates. Ensure global alignment of standard work and execution thereof. Direct implementation of the Celonis pricing tool as the Danaher standard for annual pricing/analytics. Coordinate I/C pricing together with Product Management and Finance. Develop risk stratification pricing models to differentiate and optimize pricing by customer segment; direct analysis of win/loss data to identify/determine pricing inflection points and define optimal price ranges for key segmentations; partner with Sales Training and Organization Learning Director to develop and deliver appropriate training. Direct ad-hoc analyses to understand root cause of and countermeasure material pricing and margin gaps. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Economics or Business Administration MBA preferred Minimum 7-10 years of experience in commercial disciplines such as marketing or sales in a B2B environment Exceptional capability of building followership and executing projects across functions, cultures, and level of seniorities High level of commercial acumen Experience of working within a global, multi-cultural, matrix organization Strong DBS skillset and mindset Travel expectation = 20-25%When you join us, you'll also be joining Danaher's global organization, where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
