treatment centers in five states and is rapidly expanding its
operational footprint in the North-East, Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West

DescriptionSupervisor:Chief Operating Officer (COO) with dotted
line to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive
Team.Qualifications:Master's Degree in Social Work or Ph.D. in
PsychologyIndependent LicensureBroad knowledge of mental illness
and treatment techniques, particularly substance use disorder and
comorbiditiesThree years of experience in a mental health/substance
use disorder residential or outpatient treatment
settingDemonstrated strategic and operational leadership, program
development and decision making abilitiesWorking knowledge of
behavioral counseling skills including individual, group,
IOPManagement experience working in the substance abuse treatment
and mental health counseling fieldsStrong working knowledge of
EMRsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective
interpersonal communication skills to maintain relationships with
various stakeholdersStrong organizational and time management
skills.Strong presentation skills to effectively and professionally

mission and goals of the companyPrimary Responsibilities:The
Director of Behavioral Services Line is responsible for the
clinical direction of all SaVida Management, Inc. counseling and
case management services. The Director will be responsible for 1)
determining the mix of licenses and credentials of counseling and
case management staff; 2) recruiting, onboarding and training of
staff and 3) The ability to provide direct clinical care in select
SaVida locations. It is expected that the Director of Behavioral
Services will spend approximately 50-60% of their time traveling to
SaVida locations.The Director will work together with the field
operations teams in each region to successfully launch new
treatment centers and develop the short and long term behavioral
health staffing plan for each location.Essential Duties:Provide
clinical supervision and clinical oversight of Behavioral Health
Staff.Ensure the financial success of the counseling and case
management service lines.Develop a comprehensive understanding of
the regulatory framework and develop plans to provide treatment
throughout SaVida locations that is aligned with the SaVida
mission. Create recruiting strategies in conjunction with the
recruiting team and field operations to attract and retain a team
that embraces and fulfills the mission. Interview
candidates.Working with SaVida's training team, determine the
onboarding and continuing education process for counselors and case
managers. Ensure adequate training of all counseling and case
management staffParticipate in business development activities in
support of the company's growth objectives.Direct, plan and
coordinate the work of the clinical staff including supervision,
evaluation, skill-building, and any other applicable activities in
accordance with health insurance organizations, state regulatory,
and national accreditation standards.Working with field operations,
ensure adequate staffing at each site. Ensure effective utilization
of the counseling and case management staff.Ensure all new
employees have a positive onboarding experience and adequate
training. Ensure the completion of staff evaluations. Complete
performance evaluations of any direct reports.Ensure that
behavioral policies and procedures conform to any unique state
requirements and that they are being followed by SaVida
staff.Attend and represent the company at appropriate events and
meetings.Working with the Licensing and Regulatory Director, ensure
compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Oversee the
monthly clinical note audit company-wide.Ensure that counseling and
case management services are delivered in a manner consistent with
effective revenue cycle management processes. Ensure adequate
documentation of all patient encounters and meetings.Perform other
duties as assigned.The individual must possess the knowledge,
