Certification with Distinction. BASIC PURPOSE The Area Manager will
oversee the day-to-day operations of the homecare branches and
clients in a specified geographical region. They will be
responsible for leading a team of coordinators and administrative
staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality homecare services to
our clients. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of coordinators, and
administrative staff to achieve performance targets and maintain
high standards of service delivery.
- Coordinate with branch supervisor/manager to assure that all
tasks related to staffing are completed daily.
- Track corporate employee productivity through weekly and
monthly metric reporting.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet branch goals and
objectives, including revenue targets, client satisfaction metrics,
and staff retention goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including
hospitals, nursing homes, and individual clients, to understand
their needs and ensure the delivery of personalized homecare
solutions.
- Ensure client time to fill guidelines are being met.
- Responsible for long term planning and improvement initiatives
with the VP of Homecare Services.
- Oversee the selection process for caregivers, including
screening, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members to meet
client demand.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company
policies, including licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance
standards.
- Manage branch budgets, including revenue forecasting, expense
management, and resource allocation, to achieve financial targets
and maintain profitability.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion in the
local market, including developing partnerships with new clients
and exploring new service offerings.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely
and professional manner to ensure client satisfaction and
retention.
- Implement training and development programs for internal and
external clients to enhance their skills and knowledge in homecare
services as it relates to client specific reporting requirements
for staffing and billing purposes.
- Proactively identify internal and client issues as they arise
implement quick resolutions.
- Keep senior management updated on branch productivity by
tracking, monitor and running order and applicant report
regularly.
- Attend recruitment meetings as needed and offer ideas for
creative recruitment.
- Advise on recruitment challenges, informing senior leadership
when methods should be modified.
- Train newly hired corporate personnel when needed.
- Troubleshoot personnel issues as they arise, including but not
limited to- disciplinary action and terminations in coordination
with Corporate HR.
- Manage internal staffing and schedules, always maintaining
appropriate in-office coverage, for all departments.
- Oversee all Worker's Compensation claims and unemployment
claims alongside corporate Risk Management and HR Departments.
- Oversee activity for Onboarding/Compliance of new HCW.
- Work with centralized compliance department to conduct periodic
file audits to ensure that all pre-employment qualifications are
being met and files are in compliance throughout the branches.
- Coordinate with payroll department to create internal payroll
deadlines.
- Review overall payroll for accuracy.
- Assist branches with accurate back-office billing setup through
the homecare software
- All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years' related experience in in a leadership role within the
healthcare or staffing industry.
- 3+ years' related experience in recruitment and/or account
management, preferably in healthcare staffing industry.
- Proven track record of achieving performance targets and
driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of homecare industry regulations and
compliance standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving
skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced and
dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant
software applications
- Ability to learn new systems quickly. Education:
- High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in
business administration, healthcare management, or a related field
preferred.
