We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager, Running and Innovation Apparel on the Product Creation team to join our group at New Balance. This role will help to shape the future of New Balance Running Apparel by leveraging consumer and marketplace insights to identify 'what's next' and is crucial to deliver the right products, to the right place at the right time to drive commercial growth. This individual will be a strategic, highly collaborative and creative thinker, with an eye for product.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead and manage the product creation process, integrating product innovation and ensure deadlines are met.
• Remain current on industry trends, analyze market data and identify opportunities for new product development.
• Obsess over the consumer: apply hindsight, insight, foresight and marketplace knowledge to create compelling product strategies and identifying opportunities.
• Develop and implement product strategies to ensure product success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Manage product life cycles and update product portfolios as needed.
• Develop and track performance metrics to evaluate product effectiveness.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to product creation.
• Guide an Associate Merchant through their career growth and development.REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
• 7 years of experience in product creation (experience in the Running and/or Innovation world a major plus)
• A proven track record of successful product launches
• The ability to build and implement product strategy
• Entrepreneurial spirit, strong product and financial acumen, and a creative eye for product design and development.
• Excellent communication skills, collaboration and influence skills
• Dynamic team player, comfortable working cross-functionally and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent product and industry knowledge.
