The Digital Project Manager Communications will work for the Chief
of Staff and help further the work of the Digital Health department
with a large focus on managing communications and department-wide
events. The role will assist the Chief of Staff with day-to-day
work planning and organizational meetings to maintain smooth

comprehensive Digital Health communication strategy to all
corporate and system-wide employees, increasing knowledge and
understanding, enhancing the visibility and credibility of senior
leadership, ensuring two-way communication pathways, and advancing

The role will also be expected to understand and distill
fundamental clinical, technical, and operational details and
develop and remain current with communication technologies and
innovative communication approaches to ensure communications are
accurate, targeted and appropriate for the intended audiences.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Executing a consistent internal communications strategy for Digital
Health, managing internal communications activities, particularly
with respect to newsletters, intranet sites, all-employee emails,
and serving as a key point person for critical event
Writing, editing, and delivering written communication materials
about departmental news, events, initiatives and campaigns, goals
and progress using the appropriate communication vehicles.
Creating a 12-month rolling communication plan for Digital Health
and executing on both short- and long-term goals of the plan.
Acting as a liaison for Digital Health -specific content and
communications by working closely and collaboratively with
executives and managers in dedicated department(s) to meet their
needs as clients and providing the tools and messages necessary to
help Digital Health communicate effectively.
Soliciting news from leaders and staff regularly to build into
Digital Health communication plan.
Providing support to the Corporate Communications team as needed
for program/project communications that will affect Digital Health
Enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement within Digital
Health using existing and new communication methods
Developing communication strategies to increase employee awareness
and adoption of the Partners intranet platform that align with
strategic goals and vision.
Creating a system for the sharing of departmental meeting notes and
Assisting the Chief of Staff with day-to-day work planning and
organizational meetings to maintain smooth departmental
Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelors degree required,
preferably in English, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations,
Journalism or a related field.
Three to five years minimum of communications experience preferably
in a health care setting or project/consulting environment.
Demonstrated writing excellence including the ability to write
original material effectively, clearly and quickly, and edit
material for tone, grammar and punctuation.
Generalist experience in a range of marketing and communications
functions including employee communications, event management, web
design/development, social media and direct mail.
Experience with web content management systems.
Strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Outstanding writer and editor
Demonstrated strong writing skills and sound editorial judgment
regarding publication content, design and effectiveness.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills overall to relate
appropriately and effectively to a diverse audience.
Ability to inform strategy and understand and communicate complex
ideas, including problem-solving skills necessary to gather and
interpret data and to diagnose needs.
A self-starter who has the ability to work autonomously and manage
multiple projects simultaneously.
Advanced interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work
effectively as a part of multiple teams/projects/initiatives.
Judgment and maturity along with the ability to manage confidential
Ability to collaborate with the Director of Internal Communication
and other colleagues in developing communication tactics and
content, tackling priorities head-on, and displaying sound
Excellent project planning and organizational skills, and the
ability to assist with developing communication programs and
logistics involving great detail.
Ability to support and market innovative ideas effectively to
constituents at many levels of the Partners community
The ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced
