Job Description:

Surgery-Thoracic opening in Worcester, Massachusetts. Saint Vincent Hospital is seeking a well-trained cardiothoracic surgeon due to the imminent retirement of our senior surgeon. The physician will be actively involved and partnered with a senior cardiac surgeon and six physician assistants/nurse practitioners performing a full range of adult cardiac surgical procedures, exclusive of assist devices and transplantation. In addition, the physician will also work with the chief of thoracic surgery evaluating patients with thoracic surgical disease and performing surgery using the latest techniques, including VATS and robotic procedures. The hospital has an Advanced Structural and Valvular Heart Disease Program performing TAVRs, Mitraclips, Watchman devices, etc. with which the applicant would be actively involved. The TAVR program is quite active with an anticipated 150+ TAVR procedures to be performed in 2018. The applicant would be joining the Saint Vincent Medical Group, a multi-disciplinary group with a large PCP referral base. Interested in joining our team? This position offers:
