The CRNA cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management. All candidates should have in-depth knowledge of administering anesthesia to patients undergoing a variety of surgical or non-surgical procedures. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must demonstrate good judgment and the ability to respond appropriately to stressful conditions. Schedule: - Ongoing position starting in February - Call schedule: 7p-7a weekday (30% call back) and 7a-7p on weekends (80% call back). - CRNA will take weekday call approximately once a month and twice a year on weekends. -Shift Schedule: 10 or 12 hour shifts available - Guaranteed 40hr work week; except for holiday weeks Responsibilities: Develop and execute an effective anesthetic plan. Manage patient's airway and respiratory status. Monitor patients before, during and after a medical procedure. Prepare operating rooms, set up equipment, layout supplies, and prepare necessary gases. Perform regular patient visits and legibly record findings in the patient records. Request and assess diagnostic tests. Remain up-to-date with the latest advances in the anesthesia field including the introduction of new medical equipment and techniques. Maintain up-to-date case logs.
