We offer cases throughout the entire *Worcester County area * (Includes towns such as Southbridge, Webster, Leominster, Grafton, Gardner and Brookfield)Job DescriptionMaxim Healthcare Services is seeking a LPN in the Worcester County area to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The LPN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner.Maxim offer flexible hours for day, evening, and overnight shifts. This includes full-time, part-time, or per diem. These private duty nursing positions maintain a block-shift schedule which are typically 6-12 hour shifts on a consistent weekly basis. We also offer unlimited overtime.This positions offers an opportunity for caregivers to spend quality time with our homecare patients by providing 1:1 care. We are looking for passionate nurses who truly care about their patient's health and aim to foster meaningful relationships with both patients and their family's.ResponsibilitiesUtilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patients condition.Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.Documents the patients plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities.Other LPN duties as assigned.About Maxim Healthcare ServicesMaxim Healthcare Services has been making a difference in the lives of our patients, caregivers, employees and communities for more than 30 years.
