In this role, you will work closely with patients, geriatric patients, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing communication abilities and improving the quality of life for those you serve. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric, senior care population, as well as a passion for patient care.*Responsibilities** Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in patients.* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.* Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient progress.* Provide guidance and support to families regarding communication strategies.* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.* Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.*Skills** Strong knowledge of *medical terminology* related to speech therapy.* Proficiency in *patient assessment* techniques to evaluate communication disorders.* Understanding of *physiology* and *anatomy* relevant to speech production.* Familiarity with *geriatric population* and the unique needs of senior aged patients.* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.* Ability to create engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual patient needs.* Commitment to providing high-quality *patient care* in a supportive environment.Join us in making a difference in the lives of individuals facing communication challenges.
