Job Description:
Unit Description: Baird 4 is one of three University of Vermont
Medical Center, General Medicine Units. We care for patients with
acute and chronic multi-system health needs including but not
limited to; respiratory disease, renal and dialysis patients,
diabetes, wound care, alcohol withdrawal, substance use disorders,
various GI disorders, coagulopathies, and infectious disease. Baird
4 is the only floor outside the ICU that cares for trach &
ventilator-dependent adults. On-call: Not required Requirements: -
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State
of Vermont required. - The University of Vermont Health Network is
moving toward an all Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
workforce. All external candidates hired into, or current employees
promoted to, a RN position will be required to obtain their BSN as
outlined in the terms of their offer letter. - Appropriate
experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit. Our Total
