Job Description UMass Memorial Medical Center is seeking a
dedicated and skilled full-time Clinical Faculty Endoscopist to
join our Gastroenterology team. Hiring Range: $350,000 - $475,000
Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based
on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal
equity considerations. UMass Memorial Medical Center is seeking a
dedicated and skilled full-time Clinical Faculty Endoscopist to
join our Gastroenterology team. This position offers the
opportunity to provide comprehensive gastroenterology services for
patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. The
successful candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic
endoscopic procedures, contributing to high-quality patient care
and interdisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities: -
Perform a variety of gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures,
including but not limited to: - Upper GI endoscopy -
Push-enteroscopy - Colonoscopy - Sigmoidoscopy - Therapeutic
endoscopy procedures - Diagnose and manage patients with
gastrointestinal disorders, utilizing clinical expertise to guide
treatment plans. - Collaborate closely with residents, fellows,
clinical nurses, and advanced practitioners to ensure coordinated,
patient-centered care. - Participate in educational activities
involving trainees and contribute to the academic mission of the
department. - Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and
institutional policies to promote patient safety and quality
outcomes. Qualifications: - MD or DO degree with Board
Certification in Gastroenterology. - Demonstrated commitment to
clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration. -
Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts. - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching
and mentoring. Worcester is New England’s second largest city and
