This critical role is designed for a compassionate and skilled nursing professional focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment. As a key member of our emergency care team, the Clinical Nurse II will handle severe health situations while maintaining high standards of nursing practice. Provide high-quality nursing care for adults in the emergency department environment Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care according to the hospital protocol Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions Interact and communicate effectively with patients and their families about the level of care and treatment Supervise and train LPNs, nursing assistants, and newly hired registered nurses Strong ability to operate all relevant medical equipment Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent teamwork and multitasking skills In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) Superb written and verbal communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice BLS/ACLS certification
