Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leader in healthcare services, is
seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our
Colorectal Surgery and Urology team. This position requires a high
level of proficiency in specialty care, and is ideal for a
passionate individual who strives to make a significant impact in
the lives of our patients while working in a dynamic,
interdisciplinary environment. Provide specialized nursing care for
colorectal and urology surgery patients. Manage patient care plans
and coordinate with other healthcare professionals. Educate
patients and their families on disease processes, surgical
procedures, and ongoing recovery. Monitor patient responses to
treatments and adjust care plans as needed. Maintain high standards
of safety and cleanliness in patient care areas. Participate in
departmental quality improvement initiatives. Advanced knowledge of
colorectal and urology surgical procedures. Proficient in clinical
assessment and patient management. Ability to educate and
communicate complex clinical information clearly. Strong
organizational and multitasking skills. Capable of critical
thinking and decision-making under pressure. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN
license in the state of practice. Certification in Basic Life
Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Certified
Registered Nurse in a specialty area (CRN) is preferred.
