01-27-2026 End Date: 04-28-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Varied schedule (may include weekends), primarily 3:00
PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift; 40 hours/week guaranteed. Must be
willing to float to units where experienced. Hours per Week: 40

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Observe residents
continuously and report changes in physical or mental status to
supervisors and physicians Accurately receive, transcribe, and
carry out physician orders and communicate updates during shift
change Administer medications and treatments and maintain timely
electronic MAR/TAR documentation Order and maintain unit
pharmaceuticals and ensure controlled substance procedures are
followed Supervise LNAs, assign and evaluate nursing staff, and
assist with direct care as needed Perform wound care, manage wound
VACs, and administer gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings and oxygen
per policy Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers with
complete documentation and notifications Complete 24-hour unit
reports, review new orders, and maintain communication with Nurse
Manager/DON about resident issues Support infection control
practices and maintain a safe, hazard-free unit environment
Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families to
resolve concerns and obtain consents when necessary Assist with
orientation and education of new staff and participate in mandatory
training and meetings Qualifications Active New Hampshire RN
license required and must be in-hand at time of submission (Compact
allowed) Minimum 3 years current nursing experience (experience
must be recent and within the last 6 months) BLS (AHA)
certification required IV certification required or willingness to
obtain IV certification during onboarding COVID-19 vaccination
required (declinations/exemptions are not accepted) Ability to
float to units where experienced and willingness to work the
assigned evening shift Own transportation required due to rural
location and limited housing/public transit options Locals residing
within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted (per facility
policy) Submission package: resume, skills checklist (within last
year), 2 supervisory references from last 2 years, and active
certifications Education Active RN license in New Hampshire
(required) Nursing diploma, ADN or BSN preferred (degree should
align with state licensure requirements) Knowledge & Skills
Medication administration and safe controlled substance handling
Electronic MAR/TAR documentation and accurate charting Patient
assessment and clinical observation skills Wound care expertise,
including wound VAC management IV therapy administration and
monitoring Gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings and oxygen therapy
Infection control practices and unit oversight Leadership skills:
supervising LNAs, unit/charge nurse responsibilities, and staff
education Strong communication with physicians, families, and
interdisciplinary teams Ability to manage
admissions/discharges/transfers and maintain unit workflows
