The BHC uses a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness and knowledge of medications, side effects and benefits to provide services in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment. The LPC is monitored by periodic supervision. /n Qualifications: /n Education: Required: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field. /n Experience: Required: If a new graduate, supervised-post graduate counseling experience (internship) with specified direct client contact under the supervision of a board-approved supervisor. Otherwise, 1 year of experience. /n Certifications: Required: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). /n Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
