SALMON Health and Retirement's Worcester Salisbury Campus also features The Health Center at The Willows, a Level IV rest home offering private rooms and a full schedule of activities for people requiring short- or long-term care including nursing services.COVID-19 considerations: In compliance with the Department of Public Health, all staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.Description:To ensure the timely professional operation of the resident dinging areas which promotes resident and guest enjoyment and satisfaction, provide leadership and supervision of the resident dining areas which promotes employee morale and effective delivery of service. Ensures the highest standard of quality in the staffing, serving and operating of all dining areas and special functions.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hiring, training and scheduling of all dining room service staff.
  • Direct supervision of all dining service staff in their daily activities.
  • Responsible for seeing that the standards established are maintained and continued to be improved upon in the presentation and serving of all food items.
  • Ensure that all food items are attractively displayed on buffets.
  • Responsible for coordinating, staffing and overseeing of special functions.
  • Direct supervision of all dining room personnel.
  • Responsible for overseeing the accurate accounting and sign in sheet of residents and guests.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all wait staff are properly attired according to established dress code guidelines.
  • Responsible for overseeing the sanitation of service areas.
  • Daily meetings with food service manager to discuss dining area operations.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the dining room, entryway and all contents.
  • Responsible for the tray delivery to residents apartments.
  • Responsible for cashing out the snack bar when filling in for dining room coordinator.
  • Other related duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:
    • Comprehensive knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of dining room services.
    • High level of professionalism in mannerism and appearance.
    • Ability to deal with youthful staff.
    • Ability to handle problems in a professional and efficient manner.Benefits:
