  • Measure and Improve PRINCIPLE DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The Overlook Receptionist / Concierge will be responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, responding to resident's requests, monitoring residents' emergency response system, and performing other support duties as directed.
    • Answer multiline telephone system and direct calls to the appropriate location
    • Greet visitors in a polite and professional manner and check in guests at the front desk
    • Assist residents with any issues and / or problems and direct them to the appropriate departments for resolution
    • Give directions and information to guests, visitors, vendors and others as needed
    • Assist with clerical and / or other duties as assigned by supervisor
    • Keep work areas neat and clean throughout the day, and shut down office equipment before leaving
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all resident information at all times
    • Responsible for the distribution of all incoming mail into the Skilled Nursing Facility for employees and residents
      • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
      • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
      • Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, email and the Internet
      • Knowledge of multi-line telephone systems required, familiarity with common office equipment and practices, should have a cheerful personality, a genuine desire to help people, and the ability to work well with others. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members and other guests, visitors and the general publicQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.         • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

        • Willing to work a holiday rotation and have availability on weekends. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:Primary work will be performed in doors in an office-like setting, may be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow); walking and standing frequently; occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Possible exposure to unpleasant odors, infection, diseases and Bloodborne pathogens.
