Job Description Job Description Full job description Our restaurant is currently seeking to hire a Server to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable dining experience. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Greeting and escorting customers to their tables Presenting the menu and providing detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies) Taking accurate food and drink orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips, or by memorization Serving food and drink orders in a timely manner Checking dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and reporting any problems Arranging table settings and maintaining a tidy dining area Delivering checks and collecting bill payments Carrying dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning Meeting with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu, and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties) Following all relevant health department regulations Providing excellent customer service to guests Being attentive and patient with customers Effectively communicating with the Kitchen Staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly Being polite with our customers and ensuring they enjoy their meals Being a team player Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays Must be at least 18 years of age If you are interested in applying for this position, please send your resume to Info@Orchid7Fusion.com with the job title in the subject line.
