We're looking for dedicated Medical Transportation Drivers who are enthusiastic about making a difference in patient care by providing safe and timely non-emergency medical transport. Using innovative technology, you'll help improve patient outcomes by ensuring they can get to their appointments reliably. Your role is crucial in minimizing stress for patients and enhancing their access to healthcare services. Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities and their homes using company vehicles. Assist patients with boarding and alighting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Maintain punctuality and schedule adherence to ensure timely arrivals for appointments. Collect and transmit accurate trip data through the Veyo driver app. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and medical providers to report any issues or delays. Adhere to all company policies and local laws regarding vehicle operation and safety. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and fuel levels. Strong driving skills and knowledge of local roads and routes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to use smartphone applications and GPS efficiently. Capacity to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Valid state driver’s license. Clean driving record. Pass a criminal background check and drug screening. CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required.
