Summary Technical Writing involves analyzing the eClinicalWorks EMR/PM application (and any associated products) and communicating its functionality through written documentation. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, analytical, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Job Description/Responsibilities: Writers are responsible for learning our software's functionality and then determining the most effective method of communicating how it works to readers (with intended audiences that can include external customers and/or internal users). They must be able to work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to research new functionality and be motivated to seek out all additional relevant information on their own that might be necessary to fully document features. Documentation that must be created and maintained includes, but is not limited to product user guides, training manuals, release notes, change logs, tutorials, and other documentation for internal and external distribution. Training will be provided on all software used to create and publish documentation. Qualifications: * The ability to provide a recent writing sample and interview via Microsoft Teams. * 1 year of experience with: * Technical Writing * English writing and grammar * Microsoft Word (or other similar word processing software) * Microsoft Excel * Adobe Acrobat * Adobe Photoshop (or other similar image editing software) Preferred: * Degree in English, Communications, or other related fields * Previous medical and/or medical billing experience * Previous eClinicalWorks PM component experience is a significant plus * Outstanding work ethic * Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Excellent technical writing and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Team player attitude and comfortable working as part of a team * Ability to analyze the information provided to you by SMEs and determine where there may be any inaccuracies or omissions * Ability to learn new software quickly is required * Experience with Adobe FrameMaker is a plus eClinicalWorks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
