ACCELERATING YOUR FUTURE The Director of Information Technology plans, directs, and manages the daily and annual operations of the IT Infrastructure department.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Planning

  • Develop and implement Lykan goals for IT including network infrastructure, desktop software, disaster planning and recovery, cyber security and privacy, and technical support while aligning IT goals with Lykan corporate goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for developing and managing IT infrastructure related budgets.
  • Responsible for developing productive and strong company end user, executive, internal stakeholder, as well as vendor, and partner relationships to gain buy-in, commitment and funding for corporate and information technology initiatives.
  • Prioritize user and stakeholder needs, while maintaining an appropriate cybersecurity and compliance posture.
  • Stay informed about strategic and emerging technologies. Adopting and implementing new technologies/services where it can deliver meaningful value to Lykan.
  • Hire, lead, develop and empower highly engaged teams of IT professionals, and support personnel. Delivery
    • The IT Director is responsible to deliver on all critical goals – focused on security, desktop and O/S software upgrades and optimization, while keeping the plant network infrastructure of all systems healthy, reliable and stable.
    • Implement and coordinate IT Infrastructure projects taking into account risk.
    • Prepare cost analysis, fiscal year planning, and budget plans and proposals.
    • Responsible for overall IT procedures, documentation, and oversight, e.g., user, vendor & company onboarding, offboarding, end user support, desktop support, infrastructure management, and disaster recovery.
    • Manage, report, and use key metrics to develop positive end-user relationships and to drive end-user satisfaction.
    • Manage escalations of incidents through the different support tiers as well as other technical operations groups.
    • Responsible for all installation, configuration and maintenance of user-facing technology, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, desktop software, telephony and AV equipment
    • Oversight of core IT infrastructure service providers.
    • Implementation of Lykan digital cyber security policies
    • Oversee implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery processes, including service level agreements (SLAs) and recovery time objectives.
    • Oversee and lead IT Department of server/network administrators, IT/cybersecurity, and desktop support staff with accountability for outcomes.
    • Aid in the design of technology solutions, taking into account budget, risk and other organizational environmental factors
    • Manage relationships with technology vendors, solution providers, consultants, and outsourcing firms. Manage consulting engagement to achieve both stakeholder satisfaction and costs.
    • Negotiation and relationship management for all technology partners, including initial and annual due diligence, renewals and pricing, technology comparisons and evaluations.Leadership
      • Create an environment of strong team spirit, timely and effective communications, sense of urgency, high motivation and inspire team to achieve goals in the immediate and longer term.
      • Manage and administer people processes including selection, hiring, promotion, and compensation and provide training of personnel on company and department policies systems and processes.

      • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions using an innovative and creative problem-solving approach.Qualifications
        • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems or equivalent.
        • 10+ years experience with hands-on IT management, at least 5+ in Biotech – Pharma.
        • Strong project management skills.
        • Extensive vendor management experience.
        • Deep knowledge of current technology capabilities and trends for utilities, network operations and IT infrastructure.
        • Good working knowledge of networking, hybrid clouds and virtualizations e.g., AWS, Meraki, VPN, VMWare, etc.
        • Experience managing Windows computers in a mixed scientific, technical and business computing environment, using centralized management tools.
        • Multi-factor/biometric identity management, e.g., Active Directory, OneLogin, Nymi
        • Desktop Applications e.g., 0365, TEAMs, Visio, Adobe, etc.
        • Knowledgeable about meeting room technology.
        • Implementing cybersecurity compliance and information security in a compartmentalized scientific/technical R+D and business computing environment including Cybersecurity tools e.g., Meraki Firewalls, Barracuda, Kaseya, antivirus, etc.
