Technical Support Specialist I, Great benefits, hybrid schedule,
The Technical Support Specialist I, provides technical assistance
and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software for
all ESWA employees. Responsibilities include configuring new
desktops and laptops on schedule; providing phone and in person
support to internal customers who are experiencing operational,
hardware and/or network connectivity problems with their computers
and associated software; responding to tickets via e-mail, phone
calls, and/or in person; training users;
installing/modifying/repairing computer software and hardware;
basic troubleshooting; setup and service of Mitel IP phone;
documentation and tracking of customer problems in Help Desk
information database; maintains and updates inventory; and any
other duties necessary for the successful operation of the agency
as assigned by supervisor or a member of the management
team.Technical Support Specialist I, Great benefits, hybrid
schedule, hiring bonus!Bachelor's degree in technical field
preferred or 1 year of relevant experience working within help desk
ticketing system is required. Strong Windows 10, Microsoft Office
365, and applications knowledge required. Must exhibit critical
thinking prowess and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Use
of a reliable vehicle including active vehicle insurance with a
current license to drive required.
Must have moderate physical mobility. Ability to lift and carry
objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to
communicate clearly verbally and in writing and to read and follow
detailed instructions. Ability to write and create assorted job
aides. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and be
comfortable helping individuals within a diverse user community.
Ability to multi-task, and establish priorities, in a fast-paced
environment. Detail oriented, organized, and solution driven.
A hiring bonus will be awarded in 2 parts, half at 120 Days, and
half at 1 year. The bonus for this position is $1,000.
