are looking for a talented Principal Software Engineer to join our
growing Electronic Combat Solutions Life Cycle Support Solutions
(LCSS) product line. You will be an integrated team member, doing
meaningful work with growth opportunities, collaborating with
Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers. The person we're looking for
will enjoy working directly with the system running the software
that we deliver to our customer.You will prepare design and project
documentation intended to be used within complex programs or across
sets of programs in accordance with established processes. We will
provide you opportunities to learn, leverage our current
technologies, incorporate new technologies, and be a leader in our

Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, designing, coding and code modification (typically
in C++), integration and testing of complex software for systems or
subsystems.
- Building proficiency with line operations [eg, working with the
prime mission equipment in the Systems Integration Lab (SIL) to
validate that operational software is ready for SIL integration
engineers to test].
- Supporting and leading software investigations into customer
reported issues
- Working with collaborative tools to support development of an
automated digital delivery capability.
- Championing the build/release process to improve and optimize
the delivery timeline.
- Utilizing existing processes and evolve processes to utilize
the most effective new techniques as they become available,
assuring the use of methodologies which minimize both design cost
and product cost.Because of the need for consistent, in-person
collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due
to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed
full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at
a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Current Secret Security Clearance (active within 2 years)
- Proficient in C++
- Real-time embedded software development or software application
development experience
- Experience in producing, testing and managing complex software
builds/releases of software
- Object Oriented Design/Development
- Experience with software engineering processes, methodologies,
and tools
- Experience performing software testing, validation, and
verification activities
- Strong software integration and test experiencePreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with Green Hills Software (GHS) Build/Test/Debugger
products
- Experience with Agile Development and DevSecOps
- Full life-cycle software development
- Software automated test development and execution
- EW domain knowledgePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$112420 - $191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
