more secure world. We are seeking a highly motivated and
detail-oriented Maintenance Diagnostics Software Engineer to
design, develop, test, and integrate software solutions for the
Patriot Air Defense System. This role involves end-to-end software
development, from requirements analysis to testing and integration,
to ensure the effective maintenance and reliability of the Patriot
system. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key
role in developing innovative solutions for fault detection, system
health monitoring, and maintenance planning. This position involves
working onsite in software development and lab environments, with
opportunities to test and integrate systems in collaboration with
cross-functional teams. Occasional travel may be required to
support system testing and field integration activities. What You
Will Do - Perform requirements analysis to define software features
and functionality in alignment with system needs. - Design,
develop, and maintain non-real-time diagnostic software for Patriot
system maintenance. - Execute and document software testing,
including unit testing, integration testing, and validation, to
ensure software reliability and performance. - Document software
designs, development processes, and test results for internal and
external stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with software
development standards, security protocols, and industry
regulations. - Travel and off hours testing (2nd or 3rd shift) may
occasionally be required. Qualifications You Must Have - Typically
requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant
experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. -
Experience in requirements analysis, software design, coding,
testing, and integration. - Proficiency in developing complex
solutions and applications using Ada, C/C++, Java or other
object-oriented programming language. - Experience with
Hardware-in-the-Loop testing in a lab environment - The ability to
obtain and maintain an interim secret U.S. security clearance prior
to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens
are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer -
Active Secret security clearance. - Experience in aerospace,
defense, or related industries. - Experience with software
development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Git, Jenkins). -
Experience with radar systems or similar complex systems. -
Experience with software integration in complex systems. -
Experience with diagnostic software, predictive maintenance
techniques, and data visualization tools. - Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills, particularly in data analysis and algorithm
