$17.50/hr Location: Worcester, MA 01604 Schedule: Monday–Friday,
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st shift) A day in this role When your shift
begins, you’ll settle in at a clean, organized bench and get
hands-on with small electromechanical parts—building headsets and
subassemblies that must meet precise standards. You’ll read clear,
English-language work instructions and blueprints, assemble
components with hand tools, test for proper function, and perform
in-process checks to ensure quality. If something looks off, you’ll
troubleshoot, rework, or flag issues to the production supervisor.
Throughout the day, you’ll move between workstations as needed
while keeping your area orderly. What you’ll work on Build and
verify electromechanical assemblies using standard bench tools
Interpret patterns, drawings, and written instructions to complete
tasks Conduct frequent visual and functional inspections during
assembly Perform minor repairs or rework; escalate complex issues
promptly Maintain 5S standards and support other production tasks
as assigned What helps you succeed Excellent hand-eye coordination
and comfort with small, delicate parts A consistent, detail-first
approach and team mindset Assembly background is helpful; soldering
exposure is a plus (not required) Ability to read and communicate
in English (instructions/blueprints are in English) Reliability to
work the set department hours (no schedule flexibility) Experience
& education No formal education required 0–1 year in manufacturing
or assembly preferred History of strong job tenure and reliability
is valued Physical demands Extended periods seated at a bench
Repetitive assembly motions Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs Close
visual inspection of parts and finished units Work environment
Manufacturing floor; some areas may not be climate controlled
Possible exposure to heat, dust, and other minor irritants Movement
between stations throughout the shift Proficiencies Mechanical
