Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Production Team Leader job in Westborough, MA. This is a temporary opportunity. As a Production Team Leader you will be responsible for initiation, development and execution of assigned projects within a defined period of time, as well as making sure project milestones and targets are met. Group Lead (Assembly/Functional Test)

In this role you will perform diversified duties to assemble, set-up, test, troubleshoot and repair products. You must be able to read and understand diagnostic data and work within limits of prescribed procedures. This position requires little or no explanation for a variety of standard operations and manipulations and routine work, but considerable explanation for non-standardized operations and manipulations. You may devise procedures, plan work sequences and perform complex test operations.

Essential Functions:

•Assemble, test, troubleshoot /repair products

•Prepare products for shipping

•Maintain documentation for each instrument under test

•Inspect for defects and report all nonconformance to supervisor

•Work within ISO 9001 guidelines

•Assist in development and improvement of test techniques and associated documentation

•Assist in the creation of test fixtures

•Own inventory control within assigned work center

•Keep work center clean and orderly

•Interface with customer care, sales and customers on an as required basis to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality

•Uphold all company policies

•Direct the daily operations within the work cell by providing instructions to others

•Drive continuous improvements within the work cell

•Ensure that EHS guidelines and policies are followed by the group

•Execute daily operations to drive fulfillment improvements and customer satisfaction

Qualifications/Requirements:

•Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS) in field

•5 years? experience in assembly and test of electro-mechanical equipment

•Previous supervisory experience

Desired:

•Experience working from assembly prints

•Understanding of and experience working with schematics

•Strong capabilities working with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

•Understanding of Oracle, SAP, MFG PRO or other ERP software.
