Job Description:

The Credit Card Program Administrator organizes, coordinates, and executes on program/product management duties relating to the Bank's credit card program, including collaboration with external and internal stakeholders. Responsible for establishing credit card program efficiencies and enhancements, while ensuring that appropriate balance between cardholder satisfaction and risk management is achieved. Will also assist in the day-to-day management of the credit card program portfolio, such as external and internal customer service for consumer and commercial cardholders. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the credit card program which includes; external and internal customer service, card maintenance, chargebacks/disputes, and other related daily tasks. Responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management tasks, as needed.
  • Maintains comprehensive procedures related to the servicing and ongoing maintenance of the credit card program. Drives improvements to policies, procedures, and processes; re-engineer (as needed) to maximize effectiveness and efficiency as well as optimal customer experience.
  • Analyze invoices from various vendors, including the card brand and processor to ensure contract pricing is accurate. Analyze credit card program income and expense in order to offer recommendations in expense reduction or increase in earning to meet budgetary goals. Distribute related reports to management and other stakeholders, as needed.
  • Contributes to ongoing credit card program risk assessment and related controls. Including, responsibility for loss prevention, mitigation and functions with regard to claims of fraud and disputes. Assesses steps relating to problems or issues and execute corrective action, and appropriate escalation to management, as needed.
  • Leverage relationships with third party vendors such as, the Bank's credit card processor to address identified issues, implement enhancements, updates to program parameters, set-up new products, etc. Third parties may include external credit card issuing partners, such as program managers.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal resource materials for enterprise wide awareness of the credit card program/products, including all related ancillary programs and solutions. Will include preparing training materials and execution related training, as needed. Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree, or Associates Degree with related work experience, preferably related to credit card program administration.
    • Minimum 7 years experience working in a financial services
    • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
    • Ability to analyze, interpret, develop and implement policies and procedures
    • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Must also have the ability to prepare effective presentations and communicate to a wide variety of audiences.
    • Must have exceptional organizational, analytical, problem solving, attention to detail, customer service skills and be able to work independently.
    • Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment. Must be self-motivated and have solid time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing tasks or assignments
    • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint). Must be able to work well in a paperless, automated environment with a wide variety of technological solutions and processes.
