Overview Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Assistant Coordinator at our Worcester site. Beryl's House is 25-bed six-month residential treatment program for women in recovery from substance use disorder. Priority is given to women coming directly from a Section 35 referral source, pregnant women, women ages 18-22, and women living with co-occurring disorders. Beryl's House offers the following supportive services: substance use disorder treatment, mental health counseling, group therapy, domestic violence counseling, health education, parenting skills development, vocational training, and life skills training. The Assistant Coordinator assists with overseeing the administration and operation of the program in compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for upkeep of the program's facility, orienting/training/supervision of staff, facilitating groups, and completing routine paperwork. The Assistant Coordinator also carries a caseload of clients to facilitate the implementation of their individual treatment plans. Benefits:Compensation based on education and related work experience, licensure and other qualificationsHealth and Dental insurance (available upon starting)Generous paid sick, personal, holiday, and vacation timeCEU benefitsLife and Disability insurance401k with agency contributionWellness activity discountsWork related travel reimbursement Responsibilities * Knowledge of program, agency and licensing policies and procedures * Knowledge of crisis management and verbal de-escalation techniques. * Demonstrate person-centered and strength-based communication and relationship with Persons. * Demonstrate effective communication with staff, peers and other professionals. * Operate program in an efficient and effective manner ensuring compliance with BSAS regulatory requirements. * Provide oversight of the residential milieu. * Ability to complete all written documentation and coordination of shifts * Ensure documentation is completed at the end of every shift, that staff are accurate and consistent in reporting of client progress and that client shift summaries are completed. * Participate in an on-call rotation during non-business hours and weekends. * Attend treatment team meetings as necessary. * Lead shift change meetings during one or more shifts daily. * Lead one or more skill development and recreational groups per shift. * Complete, review and supervise the completion of incident reports to ensure that programmatic needs are met. * Maintain Required competencies. * Ensure new staff are oriented and trained as required by CHL. * Provide ongoing supervision to program staff. * Performs duties using recovery orientated principles. * Ability to hire, train, supervises and evaluates program staff and ensures required competencies are maintained. * Identify problem areas and coordinate work for upkeep of site. * Insure day-to-day upkeep of residence and workplace. * Ensure healthful menu planning, cost effective food shopping and meal preparation through coordination and assistance. * Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors. Qualifications * Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; Minimum of High School Diploma, HiSet or GED required * Will consider several years experience in lieu of college degree. * Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to work independently and ability to contribute to team objectives required. * Current valid issued driver's license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in your own vehicle or a company vehicle. * Must be able to pass a CORI (Criminal Offender Background Check) and a DCF/CPS (Department of Families Adam Walsh/Child Protective Services background check) Community Healthlink is an Affirmative Action/ Equal Opportunity Employer.
