Description and Responsibilities:Intensive Home Based Therapeutic Care (IHBTC) services youth and young adults ages 6-22 with emotional challenges and/or multi-stressed families, in Northern Worcester County. Services include flexible individualized treatment, rehabilitation including Occupational Therapy, supervision and supports that vary in intensity depending on youth and family needs.
Open Sky is seeking a motivated, teamwork-oriented Master's Level Clinician to join our team to support youth and families facing challenges in a home based service setting. The Clinician will be trained to take the lead in providing Wraparound Services and providing two to three hours per week for up to five youth and their families. They will work alongside a dedicated, clinically sophisticated workforce and have opportunities to build clinical best practices and be a part of a long-term team utilizing the principles of Wraparound and other evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Travel and conduct in-home family therapy throughout Northern Worcester County.
  • Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Coordinate and monitor individual treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with the youth's treatment team.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • General hours include 9a-5p, Monday through Friday, however hours may be flexed to meet the youth and family needs, including after school, evenings and on weekends, and at locations convenient for the family to maximize youth and family participation.Qualifications:
    • Master's degree required.
    • Expertise in mental health treatment of children or adolescents and their families preferred.
    • Ability to work effectively with collaterals and partner agencies such as the Department of Mental Health (DMH), and educational facilities.
    • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
