human services agencies. These services include accounting,
payroll, third-party billing and collections, human resources,
online and live Continuing Education, marketing, facility
development and quality assurance programs.
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Benefits administrator to manage all
employee benefit programs in our company from leave of absence to
retirement plans. Your work will be of utmost importance since the
correct processing and distribution of benefits is vital for
employee retention and satisfaction. Confidentiality and efficiency
are very important qualities for a benefits administrator. If you
possess communication skills and deep knowledge of regulations and
benefit options, then you are our ideal candidate. The goal is to
ensure all benefit programs are managed properly to maintain and
enhance employee satisfaction.II. SUPERVISION/REPORTING:
The Benefits function reports to the Director of Human Resources
and Payroll.
III. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Benefit Administration.
Enrolls, terminates and processes status changes for
Employee's enrolled in client company's benefit programs with
providers. Tracks eligibility for insurance, updated benefit
eligibility status quarterly, and produces census reports as
required.Audits and reconcile monthly benefit invoices for accuracy
of enrollments and payroll deductions, processes invoices for
payment.Conducts Benefits Orientation for New Hires, answers
employee benefit related questionsAssists in preparation for annual
Benefits Open Enrollment, conducts meetings for employees during
open enrollment, produces status change forms for new enrollments,
changes and terms, audits open enrollment changes in ADPWFN.ACA
Administration:Audits data in WFN to insure compliance with ACA
reporting requirements, Calculates affordability of medical plans
to insure compliance with ACA guidelines. Calculates employee
average hours worked quarterly and updates benefit eligibility
class if required to maintain accurate ACA status. Verifies 1095-C
forms are accurate at year end prior to distribution.COBRA
Administration:Generates COBRA letters as requested, tracksCOBRA
payments. Initiates Open Enrollment notification for COBRA
ParticipantsFSA Administration:Completes annual application for FSA
provider,Audits monthly invoices and authorizes payment to
provider.Monitors receipt of employee promissory notes, updates ADP
WFN and tracking as required.Schedules employee appointments for
Student Loan Assistance program and assist Credentialing with
tracking.Responsible for filing all payroll, benefit and COBRA
related information in appropriate files.Any other reasonable
duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources and Payroll,
Senior Vice President of HumanResources, and or
President.Skills

Proven experience as benefits specialist
