In all of our medical sites, BH clinicians are located in close physical proximity to primary care providers and are available for "warm hand-offs" and short term intervention. We are looking for a dedicated Psychotherapist to join our BH MAT team!Job Summary:As part of a multidisciplinary team-based approach to care our Behavioral Health MAT Psychotherapist will provide clinical patient-centered evidence-based services to patients with substance use and opioid use disorder within Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center's Medication-Assisted Treatment Program (MAT) Program. As part of the team-based approach to care, the Psychotherapist will participate in coordinating care for individual patients, will support patients and families in self-management and provide care through evidenced-based approaches. Essential Functions:

• Provide brief and longer term psychotherapy to patients at the health center and in other settings and works with adults, adolescents and children. Both individual and group therapy.
• Provide consultation, assessment and evaluation.
• Provide consultation to medical providers as well as to other programs of the health center regarding mental/behavioral health and specifically OUD/SUD issues.
• Provide patient advocacy, outreach, and education in the community as appropriate.
• Communicates and works effectively with patients from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
• Integral part of the MAT treatment team and works collaboratively within the service and works towards the betterment of the service generally. Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Active Massachusetts LADAC, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or LCSW license
  • Preferred: ability to provide psychotherapy in either Spanish or Portuguese.
