Efficiency OPERATIONS: POSITION COMPETENCIES Responsible for possessing the qualifications for, and executing the duties of, this position. POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for performing established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives both gracious and efficient service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Perform established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives gracious and efficient service.
Practice good time management skills to ensure efficient table turnover.
Handles and serves food in accordance with all HAACP guidelines and sanitation standards.
May operate cash register and point of sale software. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Language Ability: Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must possess solid oral and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Cognitive Demands: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to multi-task.

Competencies: Knowledge of cash handling procedures; how to operate a cash register and point of sale software; HAACP and sanitation guidelines and regulations; and Steps of Service. ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
Work primarily indoors in a climate controlled setting. Atmosphere may be warm for cooking.
Possible exposure to unpleasant odors.
Possible exposure to chemicals as identified in the MSDS Manual.
Possible exposure to infections, diseases and blood borne pathogens.
