The Machine Operator is responsible for producing products on coating machines to customer specification and quality standards.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required of the Machine Operator:

* Adhere to all safety procedures and best manufacturing practices
* Setup routine products on coaters
* Prepare all mixes that are made at coaters
* Strike-off routine products on coaters
* Perform basic off machine QA testing
* Basic computer skills
* Run / produce products on coaters
* Identify all quality problems and troubleshoot routine issues on the coaters
* Follow and complete all manufacturing orders, process folders, standard operating procedures and paperwork documentation
* Perform all skills of a Utility operator
* Overtime may be required
* Housekeeping duties in specific work area and general plant
* Other duties may be assigned per business needs

Required Qualifications

* A minimum of high school degree or general education degree (GED)
* Ability to read and comprehend instructions, job folders, and memos
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and small groups
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to include conversions, weight measurements, volume, and distance
